Welcome to Handbook, operated by AI Playbook, Inc. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, platform, and related services. By using Handbook, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Use of Services
You may use Handbook only if you are legally able to form a binding contract. You agree to use the platform in accordance with all applicable laws and not to misuse or abuse the system.

Prohibited Uses: You may not use Handbook in any manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair our servers or networks. Attempting to gain unauthorized access to any part of the platform, user accounts, or systems is strictly prohibited.

2. Account Responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for any activity on your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

Unauthorized Use: We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to safeguard your account credentials

3. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property related to the Handbook platform, including but not limited to design, code, workflow automations, and AI models, is the sole property of AI Playbook, Inc.

User Data Ownership
: You own your data. However, Handbook retains rights to aggregate, anonymized data to improve the platform unless agreed otherwise in contract.

Handbook Content: All handbooks, workflows, and system-generated templates created using the platform are copyrighted by AI Playbook, Inc., but users retain full control and ownership of their input data and configurations. Users are granted a non-exclusive license to use such outputs for internal business use only. Reverse engineering, commercial redistribution, or reusing such content to develop competing services is strictly prohibited.

4. AI-Generated Decisions
Handbook offers AI-generated suggestions, automations, and decisions. These are based on configured data and known parameters at the time of execution.

Disclaimer: We do not guarantee the accuracy, suitability, or outcome of AI-generated actions. The platform is a support tool, and decisions should be reviewed and verified by the user.

No Professional Advice: The AI may generate content or outputs that resemble advice in areas such as legal compliance, HR, finance, or operations. However, these outputs do not constitute professional advice and should not be relied upon without independent review by qualified personnel. Handbook is not a substitute for your own decision-making, nor for legal, HR, financial, or regulatory consultation.

No Liability for Outcomes: AI Playbook, Inc. shall not be liable for actions taken (or not taken) based on AI recommendations or automations.

User Responsibility: You are solely responsible for reviewing and validating all AI outputs before acting on them. Use of AI-generated decisions is at your own risk.

5. Integrations and Third-Party Services
Handbook connects with tools like Slack, Microsoft Teams, Jira, HubSpot, and other platforms. You are responsible for reviewing the terms of those third-party services. We are not responsible for data handling, availability, or downtime caused by third-party providers.

No Control Over Third Parties: We are not responsible for data handling practices, availability, uptime, failures, errors, or service interruptions caused by third-party providers.

AI Actions in Third-Party Platforms
Handbook’s AI Manager may operate inside external platforms such as Slack, Microsoft Teams, Google Workspace, Excel, Google Sheets, Jira, CRMs, ERPs, and other integrated tools. When you authorize Handbook to take actions (e.g., send messages, trigger workflows, assign tasks, update data) within these environments, you acknowledge and accept the following:

Third-Party Boundaries:
AI Playbook, Inc. does not control or assume responsibility for:How third-party platforms interpret or execute AI-driven instructionsHow external users interact with or respond to AI-generated actionsAny data loss, corruption, or errors caused by external platform limitations, outages, or configurations

Authorization and Scope:
You are solely responsible for defining and approving the scope of actions the AI Manager is allowed to take within third-party systems. This includes permissions, roles, connected accounts, and access levels.

Error Disclaimer:
AI Playbook, Inc. is not liable for any unintended consequences, miscommunications, failed automations, or workflow errors resulting from the AI Manager’s operation inside third-party environments, whether caused by user misconfiguration, external API limitations, or contextual misunderstanding.

Audit and Oversight:
You are encouraged to review all AI-initiated actions periodically and ensure that sufficient controls and oversight mechanisms are in place.

6. Payment and Subscription
Your subscription grants access to the Handbook platform and selected features. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or when explicitly agreed by the Handbook team. You are responsible for all charges incurred under your account.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:
AI Playbook, Inc. will not be liable for indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages.Our total liability under these Terms is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 6 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for losses resulting from incorrect AI suggestions, third-party integrations, misuse of the platform, business interruptions, loss of data, or legal/regulatory issues arising from platform use.

8. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access at any time if you violate these Terms or use the service in a harmful way. Upon termination, your right to use the platform ceases immediately. We may retain and use anonymized data post-termination for analytical and operational purposes.

9. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes in features, practices, or regulations. Continued use of Handbook after an update constitutes your agreement to the new Terms.

10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA.

11. Dispute Resolution and Waiver of Class Actions
By using Handbook, you agree that any disputes or claims related to these Terms or our services will be resolved individually and not as part of a class or representative action.

To the fullest extent permitted by law: You waive your right to participate in any class action, class arbitration, or collective legal action.You agree not to bring any legal claim more than one year after the cause of action arose.

Any legal proceedings will be handled exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, USA.

You agree to resolve any claim through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA), unless you opt out in writing within 30 days of accepting these Terms.

No Jury Trial: To the fullest extent permitted by law, you waive your right to a trial by jury in any legal proceeding.

12. Confidentiality and Security
You agree not to disclose confidential or proprietary information received through the platform, including details about Handbook’s AI models, system design, or functionality.

Security Practices: While we implement security measures to protect your data, no system is infallible. You use the platform at your own risk and are responsible for securing your own environment.

13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless AI Playbook, Inc., its affiliates, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the platform, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any rights.

14. Beta Features (if applicable)
Beta Disclaimer: Certain features may be offered in “beta” or pre-release versions. These are provided “as-is” without warranty of any kind and may be modified or discontinued at any time. Use of beta features is at your own risk.

15. Data Processing and Privacy
Your use of the platform is subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your data. If you process personal data through Handbook, you agree to comply with applicable data protection laws (e.g., GDPR, CCPA). You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload such data.

16. Export Controls
You agree not to use or access the platform in violation of U.S. export laws or regulations, or in any country embargoed by the U.S. government.

17. Force Majeure
We are not responsible for any delay or failure to perform resulting from causes outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, internet outages, government actions, labor disputes, or third-party service interruptions.

18. Feedback License
‍If you provide feedback, suggestions, or ideas regarding Handbook, you grant AI Playbook, Inc. a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, and perpetual license to use that feedback for any purpose, without compensation to you.

19. Assignment
You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your rights under them without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms freely as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

20. Uptime or Service Levels
We aim for 95% uptime per month but do not guarantee it unless stated otherwise in a Service Level Agreement (SLA). Planned maintenance and emergency downtimes are excluded.
